VACANT POSITIONS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

01. Wing Head - Policy & Product Programs (VP)

  • Reporting To: Division Head - SME Business Division

  • Job Location: Karachi

  • Education:

    • Minimum: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college.

    • Preferred: Master's degree in Business and/or other relevant professional certifications.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 08 years of experience in SME financing and/or commercial lending, including at least 03 years in a managerial and/or team lead role.

    • Proven experience in designing, managing, and implementing policies/products for SME or commercial businesses within a commercial bank.

  • Skills & Knowledge Required:

    • Strong understanding of SME/Commercial Financing, Trade Finance, Product Structuring, Banking Regulations, and Market Dynamics.

    • Ability to lead a team, organize priorities, manage dual tasks, and meet targets.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • Core Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and enhancement of SME financing products, programs, and policy frameworks aligned with business strategy and SBP regulatory guidelines.

    • Design SME product structures including working capital, trade finance, seasonal financing, and specialized schemes to align with sectoral priorities.

    • Formulate and periodically review credit policies, programs, and eligibility criteria.

    • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and portfolio analysis to identify gaps.

    • Collaborate with Risk, Credit Compliance, and Business teams to ensure product program robustness.

    • Proactively evaluate regulatory updates to maintain a future-ready, compliant SME product framework.


02. Unit Head - General Financing (SME) (AVP / VP)

  • Reporting To: Wing Head - SME Financing Wing

  • Job Location: Karachi

  • Education:

    • Minimum: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute.

    • Preferred: Master's degree in Business and/or professional certifications like AIBP / JAIBP.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 06 years of experience in SME financing and/or commercial lending.

    • Functional expertise in credit approval, credit processing, or portfolio management within a commercial bank.

  • Skills & Knowledge Required:

    • Strong understanding of Credit, General/Seasonal Lending, SBP Prudent Regulations (PRs), and Trade Finance.

    • Sound knowledge of banking and lending products, with in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay target-oriented.

  • Core Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the SME General Financing portfolio (including working capital, trade-related, and general-purpose lending) to ensure balanced growth and asset quality.

    • Review and assign credit proposals, supervise credit analysts, and ensure high-quality credit analysis.

    • Monitor portfolio utilization, yield generation, concentration risks, and overall performance metrics.

    • Assist the National Business Head in designing efficient procedures for processing credit guidelines across SME operations.

    • Facilitate capacity building of field staff through targeted coaching, training, and technical guidance on SME credit practices.


03. Unit Head - Collection & Recovery (AVP / VP)

  • Reporting To: Wing Head - SME Financing & Collection

  • Job Location: Karachi

  • Education:

    • Minimum: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college.

    • Preferred: Master's degree in Business and/or professional certifications like AIBP / JAIBP.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 06 years of banking/financial experience with a focus on collections, recovery, or handling SME/Commercial credit risk.

    • Functional expertise in delinquency management, loan restructuring, or designing/executing collection strategies in a commercial bank.

  • Skills & Knowledge Required:

    • Strong understanding of Credit, General/Seasonal Lending, SBP PRs, and Trade Finance.

    • Sound knowledge of banking regulations, market dynamics, and target prioritization.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • Core Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute the SME Collections & Recovery strategy aligned with portfolio quality objectives and SBP frameworks.

    • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, delinquency trend analysis, and monitor recovery performance to implement corrective actions.

    • Strengthen early warning systems and proactive monitoring mechanisms to identify stress portfolios.

    • Coordinate with credit, risk, and legal functions to ensure effective resolution of non-performing exposures and recovery cases.

    • Drive digitalization of SME collections and lead/mentor regional collection teams to foster a performance-driven recovery culture.


04. Unit Head - Marketing & Strategic Alliances (AVP / VP)

  • Reporting To: Wing Head - Policy & Product Programs

  • Job Location: Karachi

  • Education:

    • Minimum: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute.

    • Preferred: Master's degree in Business and/or other professional certifications.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 06 years of banking/financial services experience specializing in product marketing, business development, or managing strategic SME/Commercial business segments.

    • Functional expertise in developing/executing marketing strategies for financial products and managing lending product launches.

  • Skills & Knowledge Required:

    • Strong understanding of Credit/General/Seasonal Lending, SBP PRs, and Trade Finance.

    • Sound knowledge of banking regulations, market dynamics, and target alignment.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • Core Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute SME Marketing & Strategic Alliances strategy aligned with growth objectives, brand positioning, and customer acquisition targets.

    • Lead and roll out integrated marketing campaigns across digital, on-ground, and partner channels to enhance SME product penetration.

    • Build and manage strategic partnerships with corporates, fintechs, aggregators, chambers of commerce, and trade bodies to generate sustainable business.

    • Monitor marketing campaign performance, alliance outcomes, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights.

    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (product, credit, operations) to align marketing initiatives with business delivery capabilities.

    • Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, SBP regulations, and bank-wide branding standards.


05. Regional Manager - SME (AVP / VP)

  • Reporting To: Regional Executive - Inclusive Development

  • Job Location: Bannu, Karachi, Quetta, Sibbi, Swat, Mianwali, and Muzaffarabad AK

  • Education:

    • Minimum: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute.

    • Preferred: Master's degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 06 years of banking experience, with at least 03 years specifically in SME banking (preferably as Team Leader / Unit Head / Regional Manager / Business Head).

    • Working experience in commercial banking is highly preferred.

  • Skills & Knowledge Required:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Deep geographical knowledge of the specific place of posting.

  • Core Responsibilities:

    • Commercial & SME assigned business handling, focusing on trade and profitability targets.

    • Establish, develop, and maintain the existing portfolio, contributing to the overall client relationship strategy.

    • Prepare and recommend credit proposals along with detailed financial analysis (addressing risk parameters, industry overviews, financial spreads, and projections) for fresh and existing customers.

06. MIS Support Officer - BI & Dashboard (OG-II / OG-I)

  • Reporting To: Unit Head - BI & Dashboard

  • Job Location: Karachi

  • Education:

    • Minimum: Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute.

    • Preferred: Candidates possessing Business Intelligence (BI) certification.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 02 years of banking experience, with at least 01 year specifically in MIS and/or Dashboard Management.

  • Skills & Knowledge Required:

    • Advanced analytical thinking and expertise in Power BI and dashboard creation (Data Modeling, Automation, OLAP cubes, DAX/MDX, ETL Pipeline).

    • Proficient in Data Analytics & Reporting using BI, SQL, SSIS, Python, Report Builder, and Power Query.

    • Expert-level skills in the MS Office Suite.

  • Core Responsibilities:

    • Monitor RM productivity, performance, and efficiency metrics through structured interactive dashboards (built via Power BI or Excel).

    • Track targets versus actual performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, highlighting key variances and trends.

    • Identify underperforming regions/segments and recommend corrective actions to business teams and field leadership.

    • Standardize reporting formats to maintain consistency across all regions and business units.

    • Proactively resolve data discrepancies to maintain the absolute reliability, data integrity, and accuracy of reporting.
