Vacant Positions Announcement

The District Population Welfare Offices working under the Government of Sindh invite applications from eligible candidates holding domicile of the concerned districts for appointment to various vacant posts.

Separate vacancies are announced for districts including:

  • Mirpurkhas

  • Ghotki (Mirpur Mathelo)

  • Malir Karachi

  • Other concerned districts as mentioned in the advertisement

Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

1. Online Application Submission

Candidates meeting the required qualifications must apply through the official Government of Sindh Job Portal:

http://apply.sts.net.pk

2. Screening Test Requirement

Applicants must have:

  • Appeared in the IBA Sukkur Testing Service (STS) General Screening Test

  • Secured at least 40% marks

  • Obtained a valid STS certificate as required for appointment to the advertised posts

3. Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Age will be calculated according to the Sindh Civil Servants (Age Relaxation) Rules, 2004.

  • A general age relaxation of 5 years will be granted under Government of Sindh Notification No. SO(SGA&CD) 5-64/2011 dated 06-03-2025.

  • Further relaxation, where applicable, will be allowed as per policy.

4. Appointment Policy

Appointments shall be made in accordance with:

  • The Sindh Civil Servants Act

  • Amendments issued on 26-04-2023 and 21-11-2025

  • Relevant recruitment policies notified by the Government of Sindh

5. Government Employees

  • Candidates already serving in Government departments must apply through proper channel.

  • They must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

  • Original NOC must be presented at the time of interview before the District Level Selection Committee.

6. Interview & Documents

  • Candidates must appear before the District Level Selection Committee under the supervision of the concerned Deputy Commissioner.

  • Original documents must be presented at the time of interview as per the schedule uploaded on the job portal.

7. Preference

  • Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the same Taluka/Union Council where the vacancy exists.

8. No TA/DA

  • No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
