Vacant Positions Announcement

The District Population Welfare Office, Government of Sindh, invites applications from eligible female candidates holding domicile of the relevant district (Karachi Central / concerned district as mentioned) for the following vacant positions.

Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.

1. Vacant Position Details

Family Welfare Worker (Female Only)

(Only female candidates are eligible to apply)

  • Number of Posts: 03 / 05 / 10 (as per district allocation)

  • Age Limit:

    • Minimum: 18 years

    • Maximum: 28 years

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Matriculation (Second Division) from a recognized Board

  • Experience & Other Conditions:

    • As per Government of Sindh recruitment rules

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

  1. Candidates meeting the required qualifications must apply through the Government of Sindh Job Portal:
    https://apply.sts.net.pk (Sindh Testing Service Portal)

  2. Candidates must have:

    • Passed the IBA Sukkur Testing Service (STS) general screening test

    • Secured at least 40% marks

    • Possess a valid passing certificate issued by STS

  3. Age Relaxation:

    • Age will be calculated according to the relevant Recruitment Rules (2004).

    • A general age relaxation of 5 years will be granted as per Government of Sindh Notification No. SO(SGA&CD) 5-64/2011 dated 06-03-2025.

  4. Government employees:

    • Must apply through proper channel.

    • Must obtain NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their respective department.

    • Original NOC must be presented at the time of interview.

  5. Appointment will be made in accordance with:

    • Sindh Civil Servants Act

    • Relevant amendments and Government policies.

  6. Preference:

    • Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the same Union Council or locality where the vacancy exists.

  7. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

Important Notes

  • Only candidates holding domicile of the concerned district are eligible.

  • Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview as per the schedule uploaded on the job portal.

  • Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

  • Final selection will be made by the District Level Selection Committee under the supervision of the District Population Welfare Office.
