VACANT POSITIONS

Kinnaird College for Women invites applications from bright, dynamic, and motivated individuals for the following faculty positions.

TEACHING POSITIONS

Assistant Professor Biotechnology
Psychology (Clinical)		 PhD degree in the relevant discipline.
Lecturer Accounting and Finance

Political Science / Pakistan Studies
Sports and Physical Education
Fine Arts
Law		 - First Class MS/M.Phil. or equivalent degree (18 years of education) in the relevant field.
For Law:
- Master’s degree in Law with 5 years of teaching/practice experience in High Court.
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with 10 years of teaching/practice experience in High Court.
- For some disciplines, a First Professional Degree (minimum 4 years, First Division) or foreign Master’s degree will also be accepted.

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS BY DEPARTMENT

  • Psychology (Clinical): PhD must be specifically in Clinical Psychology.

  • Computer Science: Applicants with an M.Phil. must hold a 4-year B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with strong programming skills and expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

  • Fine Arts: M.Phil. holders must have a studio-based 4-year BFA degree as their first professional qualification. Only candidates specializing in Painting will be considered. A portfolio demonstrating academic figure drawing skills is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with experience or interest in teaching Art History.

  • General:

    • Preference will be given to candidates with teaching or research experience in reputable Higher Education Institutions or national/international organizations.

    • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written) are mandatory.

    • HEC Equivalence Certificate is required for M.Phil./Master’s degrees not obtained from Pakistani universities.

    • Applicants must be proficient in computers and English communication (oral and written).

    • Age limit: 25 to 50 years.

    • Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body applicants must apply through proper channels with NOC. If selected, they must be relieved by their departments on the specified joining date.
