Special Education Institutions – District Nankana Sahib

In pursuance of notification issued by the Government of Punjab, Special Education Department, applications are invited from suitable candidates (Male, Female & Transgender) for the hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching posts in Special Education Institutions of District Nankana Sahib.

1. Details of Vacant Posts

Institution 1

Govt. Special Education Centre Shahkot

  • Position: Junior Special Education Teacher (VI)
  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Qualification:
    • M.A / BS (Second Division or Grade-C) in Special Education
    • Specialization in Blind Education or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university
  • Age Limit: 21–28 Years

Institution 2

Govt. Special Education Centre Sangla Hill

a. Junior Special Education Teacher (VI)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Qualification:
    • M.A / BS (Second Division or Grade-C) in Special Education
    • Specialization in Blind Education
  • Age Limit: 21–28 Years

b. Junior Special Education Teacher (III)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Qualification:
    • M.A / BS (Second Division or Grade-C) in Special Education
    • Specialization in Deaf Education

c. Senior Special Education Teacher (MC)

2. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must meet qualification and age requirements as per STI Policy
  • Fresh candidates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply
  • Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience
  • No age relaxation will be granted

3. Terms & Conditions

  • Engagement will be:
    • Temporary
    • Institution-specific
    • Non-transferable
  • Duration:
    • 09 months (excluding summer vacations)
    • For FY 2025–26 & 2026–27 or until regular appointment

Monthly Honorarium

  • BS-17: PKR 45,000/-
  • BS-16: PKR 40,000/-
  • No claim for permanent employment
  • Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored
  • Contract may be terminated with one-month notice
