General Note

  • Fresh candidates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply
  • Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience

A. Senior Special Education Teacher (SSET – BS-17)

HI (Hearing Impaired Field)

  • MA / M.Ed / BS (1st Division or Grade B) in Special Education (Deaf specialization)
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university

PD (Physically Disabled Field)

  • MA / BS (1st Division or Grade B) in Special Education (Physical Disability specialization)

VI (Visually Impaired Field)

  • MA / BS (1st Division or Grade B) in Special Education (Visual Impairment specialization)
  • Braille proficiency certificate required (issued by Directorate General Special Education Punjab)

B. Junior Special Education Teacher (JSET – BS-16)

HI (Hearing Impaired Field)

  • MA / BS (2nd Division or Grade C) in Special Education (Deaf specialization)

VI (Visually Impaired Field)

  • MA / BS (2nd Division or Grade C) in Special Education (Blind specialization)
  • Braille certificate required

PD (Physically Disabled Field)

  • MA / BS (2nd Division or Grade C) in Special Education (Physical Disability specialization)

?? Age Limit

  • 21 to 28 years (No age relaxation allowed under STI Policy)

?? 3. Terms & Conditions

  • Engagement is temporary, non-pensionable, school-specific, and non-transferable
  • Duration: 09 months (excluding summer vacations) or until regular staff joins
  • Monthly Honorarium:
    • BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-
    • BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-
  • No right to permanent employment
  • Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored
  • Contract may be terminated with one-month notice (by either side)
