The Special Education Department, Government of Punjab, invites applications for various positions at Maryam Nawaz School & Resource Centre for Autism, Lahore. The institution is dedicated to providing specialized education and rehabilitation services for children with autism.

Available Positions & Criteria

1. Principal / Vice Principal (Leadership Positions)

Qualification:

  • MSc / MS / MA or higher degree in any of the following:
    • Educational Leadership & Management
    • Psychology
    • Rehabilitation Sciences
    • Public Administration
    • Speech & Language Pathology

Experience:

  • 10 years of leadership and management experience in public/private sector
    OR
  • 7 years of leadership experience in special education institutions, including:
    • Academic planning
    • Staff supervision
    • Operational management

2. Psychologist

Qualification:

  • MS in Clinical Psychology
  • Valid certification (e.g., ADCP or equivalent)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in:
    • Child assessment
    • Therapy and intervention

3. Occupational Therapist

Qualification:

  • MS in Occupational Therapy (HEC-recognized university)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Preference for candidates with autism-related practice

4. Speech Therapist

Qualification:

  • Relevant degree in Speech & Language Pathology

Experience:

  • Experience in therapy for children with communication disorders preferred

5. Applied / Behavioral Psychologist

Qualification:

  • Degree in:
    • Applied Psychology
    • Behavioral Psychology
    • Educational Psychology

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in autism interventions and behavioral therapy

6. Public Relations / Social Communication Officer

Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in:
    • Public Relations
    • Social Sciences
    • Communication / Sociology

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a reputable organization

7. Technical / Maintenance Staff

Qualification:

  • DAE / B.Sc in Mechanical / Electrical / Mobile Technology

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years practical experience

Age Limits

  • Generally between 25 to 40 years
  • Some positions may allow up to 48 years
  • Age relaxation already included as per government policy

Salary Package

  • Lump-sum monthly salary (approximate ranges mentioned in advertisement):
    • Senior positions: up to Rs. 300,000/month
    • Mid-level: around Rs. 100,000 – 220,000/month
    • Support staff: around Rs. 70,000/month

Terms & Conditions

  1. All appointments will be on contract basis (5 years)
    • Extension based on performance
  2. Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous employees must apply through proper channel with NOC
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview
  4. Candidates must bring:
