The Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI), Peshawar invites applications from qualified and suitable candidates for the following contractual position. Position Details

1. System & Network Administrator (Contract Basis)

• Age Limit: Up to 40 Years

Required Qualification

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 16 years of education) in:

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Software Engineering

• Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.

Required Experience

• Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in:

  • Network Administration

  • Server Administration

  • Windows Directory Setup

  • Linux Systems Management

  • Manageable Switch Configuration

  • Fiber Optic Networks

  • Wireless Networking

  • Firewall Solutions

• Experience must be from recognized organizations/sectors.

?? Preference will be given to candidates having hands-on experience managing fiber optic networks with more than 50 nodes.

2. Application must include:

   • Completed prescribed form

   • Updated CV/Bio-data

   • Attested copies of academic certificates

   • Experience certificates

   • Domicile certificate

   • CNIC copy

   • Two recent passport-size photographs

   All documents must reach the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, PGMI, Hayatabad Phase-IV, Peshawar on or before 10-03-2026.

3. Experience marks will only be awarded if supported by documentary proof (experience/service certificates). No documents will be accepted after the closing date.

4. Experience will be counted only after the required academic qualification has been obtained.

5. Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide an HEC equivalency certificate. Incomplete degrees or certificates in progress will not be considered.

6. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Shortlisting may be based on pre-interview marks or written test.

7. If the closing date falls on an official holiday, the next working day will be considered the closing date.

8. Applications received after the due date and time will be rejected.

9. Recruitment will be strictly on merit. Any attempt to influence the selection process will result in disqualification.

10. Selected civil servants must resign from their service before joining.

11. Age of superannuation is 60 years as per Government rules.

12. The Scrutiny Committee reserves the right to reject incomplete applications. Aggrieved candidates may appeal to the PGMI Executive Council. The decision of the competent forum shall be final.

13. Candidates will be disqualified if they:

• Have been convicted by a court of law

• Were dismissed from public service

• Provide false or misleading information

• Suppress information leading to disqualification

• Attempt to influence the selection process improperly

• Submit forged certificates

• Tamper with official documents

• Misbehave during the interview

14. Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.

15. No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.

16. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of vacancies.
