Organization: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP)
Employment Type: Contractual basis for three (3) years (renewable based on performance and Bank's policy).
Location: SWIFT Center, Islamabad.
Educational Qualification: Graduation or equivalent degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Experience: Relevant banking experience in SWIFT operations.
Core Knowledge & Skills:
Expertise in SWIFT operations and comprehensive knowledge of ISO 20022 migration and standard messaging structures (including legacy MT formats).
Acceptable knowledge of the SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) Foreign Exchange Manual regarding cross-border remittances.
Familiarity with compliance monitoring and ensuring Authorized Dealer (AD) branch messages are routed timely and without error.
Supervise and manage inward and outward SWIFT messages processed at the SWIFT Center, Islamabad.
Maintain accurate records and logs of all processed and transmitted messages.
Responsible for the reconciliation of SWIFT messages and coordinating with the Sanctions Advisory team regarding any alerts generated for outward remittances.
Analyze and supervise SWIFT messages from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by supervisors.

Educational Qualification:
Graduation or Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
Candidates possessing a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Islamic Banking, Islamic Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution will be preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 06 years of experience in Banking and/or Islamic Finance, out of which a significant portion must be in a relevant training/learning role.
Core Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of general banking operations, Islamic finance standards, regulations, and modern learning theories.
Curriculum & Content Design: Develop comprehensive curriculum modules, manuals, and learning content for Islamic Banking aligned with business goals and regulatory expectations.
Training Delivery: Structure and conduct training programs using lectures, group discussions, and case studies. Design long-duration courses for newly hired and promoted staff.
Coordination & Liaison: Partner with the Shariah Compliance Department, Islamic Banking Division, and Operations wings to identify ongoing training needs and ensure compliance with Shariah and State Bank of Pakistan regulations.
Evaluation & Record Keeping: Conduct tests, check exam papers, prepare results, and maintain comprehensive training records to support Shariah audit requirements.
Innovation & Benchmarking: Benchmark training practices against industry standards, introduce best-practice models, and implement innovative delivery/evaluation methodologies.
