CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
SITUATION VACANT

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites applications for the following posts in Medical & Health specialties at the Capital Hospital. These positions are on a contract basis. Eligible candidates possessing the required qualifications, experience, and meeting the age limit criteria as outlined below are encouraged to apply online.

Posts Details:

1. Surgeon Urology (BPS 19)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMC).
  • Postgraduate higher diploma in the requisite specialty with 08 years of clinical experience in the specialty.
  • Alternatively, a postgraduate lower diploma with 12 years of clinical experience in the specialty.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate higher diploma in the specialty.
• Age Limit: 48 years
• Quota: Merit

2. Associate Pulmonologist (BPS 19)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • Postgraduate higher or lower diploma in the requisite specialty with 04 or 06 years of clinical experience, respectively.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate higher diploma in the specialty.
• Age Limit: 40 years
• Quota: Merit

3. Associate Gynecologist (BPS 19)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • Postgraduate higher or lower diploma in the requisite specialty with 04 or 06 years of clinical experience, respectively.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate higher diploma in the specialty.
• Age Limit: 40 years
• Quota: Merit

4. Associate Physician (BPS 19)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • Postgraduate higher or lower diploma in the requisite specialty with 04 or 06 years of clinical experience, respectively.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate higher diploma in the specialty.
• Age Limit: 40 years
• Quota: Merit

5. Psychiatrist (BPS 19)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • FCPS/MRCP in Psychiatry with 08 years of clinical experience in the specialty.
  • Alternatively, MCPS or a diploma in Psychiatry with 12 years of experience in the field.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with MCPS or a diploma in Psychiatry.
• Age Limit: 45 years
• Quota: Merit

6. Anesthetist (BPS 19)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • Postgraduate higher diploma in the requisite specialty with 08 years of experience, or a postgraduate lower diploma with 12 years of clinical experience in the specialty.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate higher diploma in the specialty.
• Age Limit: 45 years
• Quota: Merit

7. Hematologist (BPS 19)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • Postgraduate higher diploma in Hematology with 08 years of experience, or a postgraduate lower diploma with 12 years of experience in the specialty.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate higher diploma in Hematology.
• Age Limit: 46 years
• Quota: Merit

8. Registrar (ENT) (BPS 18)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • Postgraduate higher or lower diploma in the requisite specialty with 04 or 06 years of clinical experience, respectively.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate higher diploma in the specialty.
• Age Limit: 40 years
• Quota: Merit

9. Medical Officer (BPS 17)

• Number of Posts: 18
• Minimum Qualification:
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC.
  • Five years of post-qualification experience.
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Quota: Punjab-23, Sindh-5, KPK-2, Baluchistan-1

General Information/Instructions:

• Application Process:

  • Online applications along with scanned copies of educational documents, experience certificates, recent photographs, CNIC, and domicile (all in a single PDF file) should be submitted at CDA Jobs Portal within 15 days from the date of this advertisement.
  • Applications must be submitted online only; incomplete applications will not be considered.

• Age Relaxation:

  • Age relaxation, including general relaxation of 5 years, will be applicable as per government policy.
  • All applicable quotas will be observed as per government policy.

• Contract Terms:

  • The appointments will be on a contract basis for an initial period of two years, extendable based on need. There is no vested right for regular appointment or regularization.

• Selection Process:

  • Only shortlisted candidates who meet the above criteria will be called for a written test and interview.
  • Candidates must bring original documents (educational and experience certificates) along with attested copies at the time of the interview.
  • Those working in public sector departments/organizations should attach departmental NOC with their application.
