Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
Program Duration: 6 months
Monthly Stipend: PKR 60,000

About the Program

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is pleased to announce its Internship Program 2025 for young, talented, and dynamic students. This is a 6-month paid internship based in CDA Islamabad offering a stipend of PKR 60,000/month. This internship is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in various wings of the organization.

Requisite Qualifications:

To be eligible for the internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Degree Requirement:

    • Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's degree (4 years) in the last 3 years from a recognized institution by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  2. Disciplines and Wings:
    The internship is available in the following wings/disciplines:

5 Planning & Design Bachelor's degree in City & Regional Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Transportation Planning, Traffic & Transport Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geo Technical Engineering
6 Information Technology Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or any other computer science-related discipline
7 Media Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Animation, Visual Arts, Graphic Designing, Marketing

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree (4 years) in a relevant field, as listed above.

  • No pending results: Candidates whose results are pending are ineligible for the internship.

  • Not applicable: Previous interns who have participated in any previous CDA internship program are not eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure:

  1. Shortlisting Process:

    • Applicants with consistently excellent academic records will be shortlisted.

    • Weightage for academic records:

      • SSC, HSSC, and Bachelor's marks will be given corresponding weightage of 30 marks each (total 90 marks).

      • Interview: 10 marks will be allocated for the interview.

  2. Interview Process:

    • The names of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the CDA website with detailed interview guidelines:

  3. Internship Terms:

    • Discretion of CDA: The number of interns, placement, assignments, and termination are at the discretion of CDA.

    • Termination: Interns may request termination with 15 days’ written notice, but they will not receive the internship completion certificate in such cases.

    • Non-extendable: The internship is non-extendable and does not lead to any permanent employment or regularization.

    • Stipend: Interns will receive the mentioned stipend, and their conduct will be governed by CDA's rules on discipline and confidentiality.

Additional Notes:

  • Internship Completion Certificate: Interns who complete the program will receive a certificate from CDA.

  • Internship is not a job offer: The program does not guarantee employment with CDA at the end of the internship.
