Vacancy Announcement

Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA)

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is currently implementing multiple development and conservation projects under the LAHR Initiative in Lahore. These projects include works both inside and outside the Walled City of Lahore, particularly in areas associated with the Conservation and Restoration of Shahdara Complex – Phase II.

For the execution of these projects, the Conservation Wing of WCLA invites applications from eligible, qualified, and competent individuals (Male/Female) on an equal opportunity basis. Candidates must possess Punjab domicile. Appointments will be made on a project basis as per the approved PC-1, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Available Positions

1. Sub Engineer (Civil)

No. of Posts: 02
Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • 03-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Technology

  • Diploma must be from a recognized Technical Institute and Punjab Technical Board

  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of latest engineering codes of practice

  • Proven experience in:

    • Planning and designing

    • Cost estimation

    • Supervision of civil and conservation works

  • Hands-on experience in:

    • Procurement procedures

    • Tender documentation

    • Contract management as per PPRA rules

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

Salary (Lump Sum):

  • Rs. 80,000/- per month

2. Conservation Foreman

No. of Posts: 02
Age Limit: Up to 36 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • 03-year DAE (Civil Technology) from a recognized institute

  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Sound knowledge of conservation works

  • Preference will be given to candidates having higher relevant qualifications and experience

Salary (Lump Sum):

  • Rs. 60,000/- per month

3. Office Assistant

No. of Posts: 02
Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • FA or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Basic computer-based record management systems

  • Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications and relevant experience

Salary (Lump Sum):

  • Rs. 52,000/- per month

Terms & Conditions

  1. Appointments are purely on a project basis, temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, and job/post-specific.

  2. Project appointments do not confer any right of regularization.

  3. Initial appointment will be for 02 years, extendable or reducible by the competent authority.

  4. Salary mentioned against each post is lump-sum, inclusive of all allowances.

  5. Government servants must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application.

  6. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.
