National Grid Company (NGC) – Pakistan
The National Grid Company (NGC) of Pakistan is a key institution in the country’s power sector. It is responsible for the efficient and reliable transmission of electricity from power generation sources to distribution companies nationwide. NGC operates and manages Pakistan’s high-voltage transmission network and grid stations, ensuring secure, stable, and uninterrupted power delivery across the country.
The Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCA) will provide strategic leadership in managing NGC’s external stakeholder engagement, corporate reputation, ESG initiatives, supply chain oversight, and compliance framework. The role ensures a cohesive and credible corporate presence through effective government relations, strategic communications, ethical procurement practices, and enterprise-wide compliance oversight.
The CCA will play a critical role in supporting NGC’s mandate as a national transmission utility by strengthening governance, transparency, and stakeholder trust.
Lead external stakeholder engagement and government relations.
Oversee corporate communications and reputation management.
Drive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and implementation.
Provide strategic direction for centralized supply chain management.
Ensure ethical procurement practices and regulatory compliance.
Monitor internal operational compliance and conduct investigations where required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Law, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations, or a related discipline (required).
Master’s degree (MBA, MA in Communications, Public Policy, or related field) strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in corporate affairs, public affairs, government relations, strategic communications, or enterprise-level reputation management.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within large, complex, or highly regulated organizations.
Strong strategic leadership with an enterprise-wide mindset.
In-depth understanding of corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, and public policy.
Expertise in media relations, brand management, and corporate reputation building.
Proven ability to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives and risk management.
High-level writing, briefing, and spokesperson capabilities.
Strong stakeholder engagement and coalition-building skills.
Experience in contractor oversight and supply chain risk management.
Lead government relations initiatives, policy monitoring, and regulatory engagement.
Manage corporate communications, media relations, and crisis response strategies.
Drive ESG programs and community engagement initiatives for transmission projects.
Establish and oversee centralized supply chain management systems.
Ensure ethical procurement practices and compliance monitoring.
Conduct internal investigations where required.
Safeguard and enhance the organization’s corporate reputation.
