Career Opportunities at Regional Blood Centers

The Government of the Punjab Health & Population Department invites applications from qualified, experienced, and Punjab-domiciled candidates for the following project-based, post-specific position on a contract basis (non-transferable).

These positions are available at Regional Blood Centers located in:

  • Okara

  • Jhelum

  • Muzaffargarh

  • Vehari

  • Layyah

  • Mianwali

  • Sheikhupura

The appointment will be offered with a market-competitive lump sum salary package under the Government of Punjab’s Contract Appointment Policy.

Position Details

Consultant Hematologist

  • PPS Scale: PPS-9

  • Monthly Salary: Rs. 404,250/-

Required Qualification

  • MBBS with MS / FCPS in Hematology or equivalent qualification

  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university or reputed foreign university with HEC equivalence

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Blood Bank

Age Limit

  • Up to 45 years

General Terms & Conditions

  1. The above positions are offered on a contract basis, extendable subject to:

    • Satisfactory performance

    • Extension of PC-I

    • Government of Punjab Contract Appointment Policy 2004 (as amended)

  2. Age relaxation will be admissible as per Government policy.

  3. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

  4. Candidates already serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel.

  5. Submission of fake documents or concealment of facts will result in disqualification at any stage of recruitment or during service.

  6. Only degrees recognized by HEC (or foreign degrees with HEC equivalence) will be considered. The degree program must be recognized by HEC on or before the closing date of the advertisement.

  7. Candidates must present:

    • Original documents

    • One set of attested photocopies

    • HEC-attested degrees
      at the time of interview.

  8. The Department reserves the right to:

    • Increase or decrease the number of vacancies

    • Reject any or all applications

    • Cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason

  9. The Department’s decision regarding eligibility, shortlisting, and selection criteria shall be final.

  10. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The date and time will be communicated via Email/SMS/Call.
