Positions Announcement

The Mufti Mehmood Memorial Medical Teaching Institution (MTI), D.I. Khan, functioning as an autonomous institution under the Medical Teaching Institution Reform (Amended) Act, 2015, invites applications from eligible male and female candidates across Pakistan.

These positions are offered on a fixed pay basis for the District Headquarters (DHQ) Teaching Hospital, D.I. Khan, specifically for Cardiac Emergency and Neurology Emergency (Stroke Services) at the Accident & Emergency (A&E) Department – Trauma Center.
All positions are non-transferable.

Available Positions

1. Specialist Registrar – Cardiology (Accident & Emergency)

2. Specialist Registrar – Neurology (Accident & Emergency)

3. Trainee Registrar – Cardiology (Accident & Emergency)

4. Trainee Registrar – Neurology (Accident & Emergency)

5. Cardiology Technician

6. Cardiology Technician (Female Only)

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

A. Specialist Registrar (Cardiology / Neurology)

  • Qualification:
    • FCPS / MD / MS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC
  • Experience:
    • Relevant specialization in Cardiology or Neurology
  • Tenure:
    • 2 years (extendable up to 3 years based on performance and institutional needs)

B. Trainee Registrar (Cardiology / Neurology)

  • Qualification:
    • MBBS with valid PMDC registration
    • Completion of Postgraduate Fellowship Training in the relevant field
  • Tenure:
    • 2 years (extendable up to 3 years based on performance and requirement)

C. Cardiology Technician

  • Qualification:
    • 2-year Diploma in Cardiac Technology from a recognized institute
    • Must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Faculty

D. Cardiology Technician (Female Only)

  • Same qualifications as above:
    • 2-year Diploma in Cardiac Technology
    • Registration with KP Medical Faculty

General Information

  1. Eligibility Nationwide:
    • Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply
  2. Legal & Administrative Framework:
    • Selected candidates will perform duties under the MTI Act 2015 (as amended) and MTI Regulations 2019
  3. Selection Process:
    • Selection will be conducted by a Selection Committee formed by the Board of Governors MTI D.I. Khan
    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews
  4. Government Employees:
    • Candidates already working in government or semi-government organizations must apply through the proper channel
  5. Job Nature:
    • All positions are non-transferable and strictly assigned to:
