Position Announcement

The Mufti Mehmood Memorial Medical Teaching Institution (MTI), Dera Ismail Khan, has been designated as an autonomous institution under the Medical Teaching Institution Reform (Amended) Act, 2015 by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The institution operates under the supervision of a Board of Governors.

Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates across Pakistan for appointment on a fixed pay basis at the District Headquarter (DHQ) Teaching Hospital, D.I. Khan.

Job Details

Vacancies are available in Cardiac Emergency and Neurology Emergency (Stroke Services) at the Accident & Emergency (A&E) Department (Trauma Center).
All positions are non-transferable.

Available Positions

1. Specialist Registrar – Cardiology (Accident & Emergency)

2. Specialist Registrar – Neurology (Accident & Emergency)

Qualification Requirements:

  • FCPS / MD / MS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC

Terms:

  • Tenure-based position for 2 years, extendable up to 3 years based on performance and institutional needs

3. Trainee Registrar – Cardiology (Accident & Emergency)

4. Trainee Registrar – Neurology (Accident & Emergency)

Qualification Requirements:

  • MBBS with valid PMDC registration
  • Completion of Postgraduate Fellowship Training in the relevant field

Terms:

  • Tenure-based position for 2 years, extendable up to 3 years based on performance and institutional needs

5. Cardiology Technician

6. Cardiology Technician (Female Only)

Qualification Requirements:

  • Two (02) years Diploma in Cardiac Technology from a recognized institute
  • Must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Faculty

General Information

  • Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply
  • Selected candidates will perform duties under the MTI Act 2015 and MTI Regulations 2019
  • Recruitment will be conducted through a Selection Committee constituted by the Board of Governors
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview
  • Government and semi-government employees must apply through proper channel
  • All positions are strictly non-transferable within the specified departments
