Drug Abuse & Rehabilitation Centre (DARC/DATC)

Mufti Mehmood Memorial Teaching Hospital, Dera Ismail Khan

Mufti Mehmood Memorial Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) D.I. Khan, an autonomous body established under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in accordance with the MTI Reform (Amended) Act 2015, invites applications from eligible male and female candidates for the following positions on a fixed pay basis for its Drug Abuse & Rehabilitation Centre (DARC/DATC).

1. Vacant Positions & Qualifications

Clinical Positions

1. Specialist Registrar Psychiatry

Qualification:

  • FCPS / MD or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC
  • Tenure: 2 years (extendable up to 3 years based on performance)

2. Trainee Registrar Psychiatry

Qualification:

  • MBBS with valid PMDC registration
  • Postgraduate training completion certificate
  • Tenure: 2 years (extendable up to 3 years)

3. Clinical Psychologist

Qualification:

  • BSc (Hons) in Clinical Psychology

4. Charge Nurse

Qualification:

  • BS (Hons) in Nursing
  • Preference: Experience in Drug Abuse & Rehabilitation Centre (DARC/DATC)

5. Counselor / Therapist

Qualification:

  • BS (Hons) in Psychology
  • Preference: Minimum 2 years’ experience in rehabilitation centers

6. Paramedical Staff

a) Clinical Technician (ECT)

b) Clinical Technician (Anesthesia)

Qualification:

  • 2-year diploma in relevant field from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Faculty or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience

Non-Clinical Positions

7. Religious Teacher / Spiritual Guide

Qualification:

  • Minimum 8 years of religious education from an institution registered with Wafaq-ul-Madaris Pakistan

8. Field Officer / Social Worker

Qualification:

  • MSc / BSc (Hons) in Sociology

9. Ward Boys

Qualification:

  • Preferably literate

2. General Information

  • Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply
  • Selection will be made by a Board of Governors Selection Committee
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews
  • Government/semi-government employees must apply through proper channel
  • Positions are non-transferable and specific to DARC/DATC
