Position: Social Mobilizer
Locations: Gujranwala (1 position) and Khushab (1 position)

About the Organization
Brooke Pakistan, a non-profit organization, is registered as a public limited (by guarantee) company under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. Operating in Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Brooke Pakistan is dedicated to improving the lives of working equine animals, including horses, donkeys, and mules.

Position Overview
We are seeking passionate and qualified candidates to fill the position of Social Mobilizer in the districts of Gujranwala and Khushab.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Graduate or Intermediate degree in social sciences or an equivalent field from a recognized university or institute (essential).
    • Diploma in livestock or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 2-3 years of proven experience in community mobilization.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who are local residents of the aforementioned districts.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven ability to inspire and influence communities to promote positive behavioral changes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with community members.
  • Well-versed in participatory methods to identify community needs and address the root causes of local issues.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities and providing support to men and women in equine-owning communities to enhance the welfare of working equids.
