JOB VACANCY

Brooke Pakistan is a non-profit public limited company established under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, operating in Punjab, Sindh, and KPK to improve the lives of working equine animals (Horses, Donkeys, and Mules). We are currently seeking suitable candidates to fill the following positions:

COMMUNITY ANIMAL HEALTH OFFICER

  • Locations: Lahore (01 position), Gujranwala (01 Position), Rawalpindi (01 Position)

Purpose:
The incumbent will facilitate communities in adopting sustainable welfare measures to improve the health and welfare of their equine animals.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Degree in DVM from an accredited university/institute with a CGPA of 3 or above (MPhil completed will be considered a plus).
  • Ability to work with local service providers, government vets, and para-vets to train them in enhancing the quality of service delivery to equine animals.
  • Possess the requisite veterinary knowledge and equine animal handling skills to provide quality veterinary services to working equines.
  • Capable of conducting awareness-raising meetings/sessions for primary stakeholders in target communities/camps regarding disease prevention and basic equine management practices/minimum standards of care.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
