Vacancies Announcement

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, is a government institution that provides a professional and supportive work environment along with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. The university is an equal opportunity employer.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in Punjab for the following positions on a contract basis:

Vacancies and Eligibility

1 Retired Armed Forces Personnel 03 BPS-00 Retired armed forces personnel with a minimum of 15 years of service in relevant arms/corps.
2 Electrician 01 BPS-04 Minimum Matriculation and a diploma from a recognized institute in the relevant field. At least 3 years of practical experience in the field.

Application Procedure

  1. Candidates must submit their applications online through the UHS Job Portal: http://portals.uhs.edu.pk/jobs.

  2. After submitting the online form, candidates must print the completed form and submit it along with all required documents to:
    HR Section (ER), Room No. 12, University of Health Sciences, Lahore.

    • Note: Once submitted, the online form cannot be edited.

  3. The prescribed application fee must be printed from the online form and deposited either through the provided link or at any Bank of Punjab branch.

  4. Candidates must also submit attested copies of the following documents along with the application:

    • National Identity Card (CNIC)

    • Educational certificates and transcripts

    • Experience certificates

    • Other relevant documents

    • Printed and deposited fee challan

  • Note: Applications submitted without the fee will not be considered.

  • The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Important Instructions

  1. Only candidates with Punjab domicile are eligible to apply.

  2. Appointments will be made on a contract basis under UHS Service Regulations 2005.

  3. Candidates with experience in recognized government medical institutions will be given preference.

  4. Where experience is required, equivalent experience from autonomous, semi-autonomous, or reputable private institutions will also be considered.

  5. Candidate’s age must not exceed 55 years as of the last date of application submission.

  6. Age relaxation will be given according to Punjab Government rules and regulations.

  7. Selected candidates may be assigned to any UHS campus, including Main Campus or Jinnah Campus, Kala Shah Kaku.

  8. Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.

  9. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions without prior notice.

  10. Candidates may be required to appear for a written test or screening as part of the shortlisting process.

  11. Candidates already employed in government institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

  12. No TA/DA will be provided for the application or test/interview process.
