Requirement for General Staff (Sanitary Workers)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates residing in District Okara for performing sanitation/cleaning work at District Headquarters Hospital, South City Okara. Recruitment will be for a period of 89 days.

1. Educational Qualification / Experience / Age Limit

The candidate must be medically and physically fit. Candidates having experience in hospital sanitation work will be preferred.

Terms and Conditions

1. The applicant must be a resident/domicile holder of the relevant district and must fulfill the prescribed criteria.

2. Attested copies of National Identity Card, domicile, educational certificates, experience certificates, and recent photographs must be attached with the application.

3. Appointment will be purely on a temporary basis for 89 days through the Health Council and shall not create any right to permanent appointment or employment. This appointment will not be against any sanctioned post.

4. Recruitment will be made on merit in accordance with the prevailing policy/instructions of the Government of Punjab.

5. Applications received after the prescribed date or incomplete applications shall not be acceptable.

6. The candidate shall present the original National Identity Card, original educational certificates, domicile, and experience certificates at the time of interview.

7. The authorized Selection Committee shall have the power to accept or reject any application and to make appropriate decisions regarding the recruitment process in accordance with the rules.

8. Selected candidates will be deployed at the relevant hospital/institution as per requirement and shall perform the assigned duties.

9. No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates appearing for interview/selection.

10. The selected candidate must be medically and physically fit.

11. If the information or documents provided at any stage are proved false/fake, the candidate's application/appointment may be cancelled.

12. Wages/remuneration will be paid at the rate prescribed by the Government and through the approved mode of payment, i.e., only through cross cheque or bank account.

13. The selected staff shall be bound to perform hospital sanitation duties and other related duties assigned by the administration as required.

14. Selected candidates must register on the hospital's biometric system and mark daily attendance.

15. Salary payment shall be linked only and only with the biometric system; without it, the candidate will be considered absent, and in case of continuous absence for two days, the selected candidate will be dismissed from service.

16. In case of any complaint or unsatisfactory performance, the concerned employee will be dismissed from service without any prior notice.
