NATIONAL DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT FUND (NDRMF)

TEMPORARY VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

NDRMF is seeking vibrant and qualified professionals for the following Islamabad-based positions. Complete Terms of Reference (TORs) are available on their website.

1. Research Associate – Disaster Risk Financing (DRF) & Project Preparation Facility (PPF)

  • Positions Available: 01

  • Tenure: Temporary / Contingent for six (06) months

  • Maximum Age: 30 years

  • Required Qualification:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environment, Economics, Finance, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience & Skills:

    • Fresh candidates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply (relevant experience is an advantage).

    • Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

2. Research Associate – Climate Change & Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)

  • Positions Available: 01

  • Tenure: Temporary / Contingent for six (06) months

  • Maximum Age: 30 years

  • Required Qualification:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, Disaster Management, Development Studies, or a related field.

  • Experience & Skills:

    • Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply (relevant experience is an advantage).

    • Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Eligibility & Verification Rules

  • Cut-off Date: Age, qualification, and experience will be calculated exactly from the date of application submission.

  • Experience Exclusions: Part-time, honorary, apprentice, and internship positions will not be counted as valid experience.

  • HEC Verification: All degrees must be verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Foreign-qualified candidates must provide an HEC equivalence certificate. Selected candidates must submit HEC-verified degrees prior to formal employment.

  • Exclusivity: Employment is on a full-time basis. Selected candidates cannot engage in any other business, occupation, or profession, directly or indirectly.
