The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP)—"The Nation's Bank"—is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented individual for the position of Relationship Manager-SME (Officer Grade II). This role is central to the Bank’s strategy of becoming a future-fit, agile, and sustainable institution. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the Bank's socio-economic growth objectives by managing and expanding the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) portfolio.
The position is based in the following cities (Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and AJK):
Punjab: Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhang, Jhelum, Lahore, Mianwali, Multan, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Vehari.
Sindh: Hyderabad, Karachi, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Abbottabad, Mansehra, Mardan, Peshawar.
Balochistan: Dera Ghazi Khan, Gwadar, Sibi.
AJK & Others: Mirpur A.K, Muzaffarabad A.K, Rawalakot, Islamabad.

A. Business Development & Strategy
Identify, acquire, and grow new SME clients to expand the Bank’s lending portfolio.
Develop and execute a client acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Promote financing products, including working capital, trade finance, and term loans.
B. Client Relationship Management
Manage and enhance existing client relationships to ensure portfolio retention and growth.
Regularly review client financial health to identify risks and opportunities.
Conduct periodic client visits and provide portfolio performance updates.
C. Credit Analysis & Risk Management
Analyze financial statements and business models to assess creditworthiness.
Structure and recommend tailored financing solutions for SME clients.
Prepare comprehensive credit proposals in compliance with internal policies and SBP regulations.
Ensure facilities are approved within the Bank's risk appetite.
Monitor accounts for early warning signals and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
D. Collaboration & Targets
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide seamless client service.
Achieve financial and non-financial targets (Revenue, Portfolio Growth, Client Satisfaction).
Contribute to the Bank’s strategy by meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Perform any other assignments delegated by the supervisor(s).
Core Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet assigned targets effectively.
Banking Knowledge: Understanding of Commercial and SME Banking products, Credit Lending, and Trade Finance.
Regulatory Knowledge: Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations and commercial lending requirements.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
Sales Orientation: Strong ability to identify business opportunities and achieve targets.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Local Knowledge: Good geographical knowledge of the assigned business area.
