Detailed Text Description

The Bank of Punjab (BOP), a premier financial institution with over 35 years of operational excellence and a vast network of 900+ online branches across Pakistan, is seeking highly experienced banking professionals to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager within its Consumer Banking Group. This is a senior-level leadership position (Grade Band-5 to Band-3) based in either Gujrat or Karachi.

The primary mandate of this role is to spearhead the strategic development and execution of customer and business propositions within the assigned region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving aggressive growth by overseeing a robust calendar of marketing and sales campaigns. Key performance indicators include ensuring an 80% productivity rate among branch sales staff (PB, PBO, CSO), achieving a 15% growth in the branch deposit base, and maintaining an 80% overall branch productivity target.

This position demands a strategic leader who can strengthen existing client relationships through cross-selling and product deepening, while also cultivating new business by networking with prospective, institutional, and corporate clients. A critical component of the role is ensuring strict adherence to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) guidelines, internal policies, and sales process compliance. The manager will also be responsible for upskilling the sales force, ensuring they possess accurate product knowledge to effectively market to potential clients.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university and have between 9 to 12 years of banking experience, with a strong preference for those holding at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity. The maximum age limit for applicants is 55 years.
