Career Opportunity

Position: Project Manager – Sewerage Services (PPP)

The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Project Manager – Sewerage Services (Public-Private Partnership).

The incumbent will work under the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to support the development of KW&SC’s infrastructure projects. This key role involves comprehensive management and oversight of consultants engaged for the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) and Feasibility Study (FS) projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage consultants engaged for the design and feasibility phases of sewerage infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor the operations of the sewerage network through contractors engaged for the deployment of sanitary health workers.
  • Ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and strict compliance with fiduciary and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly report performance updates, progress, and milestones on sewerage treatment works to the CSO/CEO KW&SC.
  • Support project implementation in line with organizational and sectoral standards, ensuring public service delivery efficiency.

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council is mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of professional experience in the wastewater sector, particularly in the execution of large-diameter sewage transmission pipelines or hydraulic structures.
  • At least 15 years of experience in planning, design, and construction supervision of large-scale wastewater projects, preferably under FIDIC conditions of contract.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 45 years
  • Maximum age: 62 years
  • The position is offered on a three-year contract, renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance.
