JOB OPPORTUNITIES
The Directorate General of Archaeology, under the Tourism, Archaeology & Museums Department, Government of Punjab, invites applications from suitable candidates domiciled in Punjab to fill project-based positions under the following new ADP projects:
Preservation/Restoration, Improvement, Management & Upgradation of Rohtas Fort, District Jhelum
Preservation/Restoration, Improvement, Management & Upgradation of Hiran Minar, District Sheikhupura
Preservation/Restoration, Improvement, Management & Upgradation of World Heritage Site Taxila, District Rawalpindi
Preservation/Restoration, Improvement, Management & Upgradation of Harappa, District Sahiwal

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Project Director (PPS-10)
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university
Registration: Must be a registered Professional Engineer with PEC
Experience:
15 years with Bachelor's OR 10 years with Master’s degree
Relevant experience in supervising development projects, preferably in heritage management, historical monument conservation, or archaeological site preservation
2. Project Engineer (PPS-08)
Education: Same as above
Registration: PEC registered
Experience:
7 years with Bachelor's OR 5 years with Master’s degree
Preferably in heritage conservation or development project supervision
3. Procurement Specialist (PPS-08)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience: Minimum 5 years in relevant procurement roles
4. Associate Engineer (PPS-07)
Education: 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil or Architecture Technology
Experience: Minimum 5 years, preferably in conservation/restoration or infrastructure projects
5. Assistant Manager (Accounts) (PPS-07)
Education: Master’s degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in Finance from an HEC-recognized university
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience

Employment Nature:
All appointments are temporary, non-transferable, non-pensionable, project-specific, and do not confer regularization rights
Salary Terms:
Salaries are lump-sum packages (inclusive of all allowances)
Annual increment of 5% in line with Project Pay Scale (PPS)
For Government/Semi-Government Employees:
Must apply through proper channel with a valid NOC
