JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from suitable candidates having Pakistani nationality by the Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism, Archaeology & Museums Department, Government of the Punjab, to fill the following contractual posts under the ADP Project:

“Establishment of Program Management Unit (PMU) for Punjab Tourism Rehabilitation and Revamping Projects”

The PMU requires the services of qualified and experienced professionals for the positions detailed below.


ARCHAEOLOGY SECTION

1. Museum Management & Curation Specialist (PPS-08)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Qualification:
    Master’s degree in Museum Studies (Museology), Art History, or Cultural Heritage Management from an HEC-recognized university

  • Experience:
    Minimum 05 years of experience in museum operations, curation, exhibition design, or artifact management

2. Archaeological Records & Archive Specialist (PPS-08)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Qualification:
    Master’s degree in History or Library & Information Sciences from an HEC-recognized institution

  • Experience:
    Minimum 05 years of experience in documentation, heritage archive management, and digital record systems


CONSERVATION & DESIGN SECTION

3. Chief Conservationist (Built Heritage) (PPS-11)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Qualification:
    PhD or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from an HEC-recognized university
    (PEC/PCATP registration mandatory)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years’ experience for PhD holders

    • Minimum 15 years’ experience for Master’s degree holders

    • Proven professional experience in conservation, restoration, or heritage-based construction projects

4. Master Craftsman (PPS-07)

  • No. of Posts: 05

  • Qualification:
    Literate with demonstrated mastery in one or more traditional crafts, including:

    • Fresco

    • Stucco

    • Ghalib Kari

    • Kashi Kari

    • Tile Mosaic

    • Wood or Stone Carving

    • Lime Plaster

  • Experience:
    Practical field expertise in traditional heritage crafts


DEVELOPMENT SECTION

5. Structural Engineer (PPS-07)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 45 years

  • Qualification:
    Master’s in Structural Engineering or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university
    (PEC registration required)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 07 years (Master’s degree)

    • Minimum 10 years (Bachelor’s degree)

    • Experience in structural design, retrofitting, and supervision, preferably on heritage-sensitive structures


FIELD IMPLEMENTATION UNIT

6. Monitoring & Evaluation Expert (PPS-08)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 48 years

  • Qualification:
    Master’s degree in Economics or Public Administration

  • Experience:
    Minimum 05 years’ experience in project monitoring, evaluation, or results-based management

7. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (PPS-07)

  • No. of Posts: 02

  • Age Limit: 35 years

  • Qualification:
    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or Project/Construction Management from an HEC-recognized university

  • Experience:
    Minimum 05 years’ experience in field supervision or monitoring of construction/conservation projects


SPECIALIZED ADMINISTRATIVE WING

8. Contract Management Specialist (PPS-05)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 43 years

  • Qualification:
    Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Law, or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized university

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 05 years (Master’s degree)

    • Minimum 07 years (Bachelor’s degree)

    • Experience in contract management, commercial negotiations, legal compliance, or heritage development projects

9. Tourism Development Specialist (PPS-09)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Qualification:
    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, or Cultural Heritage Management from an HEC-recognized university

  • Experience:
    Minimum 05 years’ experience in tourism planning, destination marketing, or visitor services management


TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Applications must be submitted separately for each post through the Punjab Job Portal.

  2. All appointments are purely contractual, non-transferable, non-pensionable, post-specific, and confer no right of regularization.

  3. Salary will be offered on a lump-sum basis (inclusive of all allowances) with 4% annual increment under Project Pay Scale (PPS).

  4. Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channel and submit a valid NOC.

  5. Incomplete applications will be rejected; only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

  6. No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.

  7. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason.

  8. Last date for submission of applications: 06-12-2026. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
