CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

SITUATION VACANT

CDA invites applications for the following posts on a contract basis against Project Pay Scales (PPS) for the design and construction of Jinnah Medical Complex (JMC) in Islamabad. Applications are invited from suitable candidates possessing qualifications, experience, and age limit as mentioned below:

1. Project Director

PPS: 11
No. of Posts: 01
Minimum Qualification, Experience, and Other Conditions:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum 20 years of experience in project management of large-scale projects, preferably in hospital or educational infrastructure projects

• Expertise in construction planning, execution, and team leadership Upper Age Limit: 55 years

2. Procurement & Contracts Specialist

PPS: 10
No. of Posts: 01
Minimum Qualification, Experience, and Other Conditions:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law, or related field

• Minimum 15 years of experience for BS candidates and 10 years of experience for MS candidates in procurement and contract management, preferably in hospitals or institutional projects

• Knowledge of public procurement rules and contract laws is mandatory Upper Age Limit: 50 years

3. Chief Architect

PPS: 10

Minimum Qualification, Experience, and Other Conditions:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture

• Minimum 15 years of experience for BS candidates and 10 years of experience for MS candidates in designing healthcare or educational facilities

• Proficiency in architectural software and project visualization tools Upper Age Limit: 50 years

4. E&M Engineer

Minimum Qualification, Experience, and Other Conditions:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and managing E&M systems for large-scale projects

• Familiarity with hospital-grade systems preferred Upper Age Limit: 45 years

5. Planning Engineer

PPS: 09

Minimum Qualification, Experience, and Other Conditions:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource management

• Expertise in project management software like Primavera or MS Project is mandatory Upper Age Limit: 45 years

6. QS Engineer

PPS: 08
No. of Posts: 01
Minimum Qualification, Experience, and Other Conditions:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation, BoQ preparation, and tendering processes

• Proficiency in QS tools and software Upper Age Limit: 35 years

General Information/Instructions

1. Applications on the prescribed form, along with copies of educational documents, experience certificates, recent photograph, CNIC, and domicile, should be submitted by mail within 30 days from the date of advertisement.

2. Incomplete or by-hand applications will not be entertained.

3. CDA reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or increase/decrease the number of posts.

4. The employees will be appointed on a contract basis for a period of one year, with no vested right for regular appointment/regularization.

5. Only shortlisted candidates who qualify as per the above criteria will be called for tests or interviews.

6. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.

7. Candidates will be required to bring original documents (educational and experience certificates along with attested copies) at the time of the interview.

8. Candidates working in public sector departments/organizations should attach a departmental NOC with the application.

9. Use a separate form and separate envelope if applying for more than one post.
