SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment to the following positions at Bannu Medical College (BMC), Medical Teaching Institution (MTI), Bannu, under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Reforms Act, 2015 (as amended from time to time).

1. Professor (Basic / Clinical Sciences)

Departments:

• Pathology

• Radiology

• Anesthesia

• Cardiac Surgery

• Vascular Surgery

Qualification & Experience:
As per Policy Board MTI & Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) regulations.

2. Associate Professor (Basic / Clinical Sciences)

Departments:

• Anatomy

• Microbiology

• Chemical Pathology

• Pharmacology

• Medical Education

• Neurology

• Radiology

• Anesthesia

• Plastic Surgery

• Pediatric Surgery

• Nephrology

• Cardiac Surgery

Qualification & Experience:
As per Policy Board MTI & PMDC regulations.

3. Assistant Professor (Basic / Clinical Sciences)

Departments:

• Anatomy

• Biochemistry

• Physiology

• Microbiology

• Forensic Medicine

As per Policy Board MTI & PMDC regulations.

4. Demonstrators

Qualification:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC.

• Must hold a valid full PM&DC license.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Application Submission:

   • Applications must be submitted on the prescribed proforma, duly filled in all respects, along with a detailed Bio-data, attested copies of academic and experience certificates, and PM&DC eligibility certificate.

   • Applications should reach the Office of the Dean, Bannu Medical College (BMC), Bannu within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.

2. Application Fee:

   • Rs. 3000/- for Serial No. 01 (Professors & Associate Professors)

   • Rs. 2000/- for Serial No. 02 (Assistant Professors)

   • Rs. 1000/- for Serial No. 03 (Demonstrators)

   • Application fees should be deposited through Bank Draft / Challan in favor of Dean, Bannu Medical College,
     Bank of Khyber (BOK) A/C No. 3003967912, Branch Code 5205.
     (Cheques or Pay Orders will not be accepted.)

3. Application Form:

   • The prescribed application form is available for download at the college website: www.bmckp.edu.pk.

4. Service Regulations:

   • All appointments will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Reforms Act, 2015 (as amended).

5. In-Service / Civil Servants:

   • Government employees must apply through the proper channel.

   • If selected, they will be required to resign from civil service, as no lien will be maintained.

6. Private Practice:

   • Selected clinical faculty are required to perform Institution-Based Practice (IBP).

   • Private practice outside the hospital will not be allowed after selection.

7. Shortlisting and Interview:

   • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

   • Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.

8. Submission Deadline:

   • Applications must reach during office hours on or before the closing date.

   • If the closing date falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be treated as the closing date.

   • Applications received after the due date/time will be rejected.

9. Preference:

   • For the specialty of Pathology, preference will be given to candidates possessing FCPS with clinical work experience in the relevant field.

10. Scrutiny and Appeals:

    • The Scrutiny Committee, BMC Bannu reserves the right to reject incomplete applications.

    • Aggrieved candidates may appeal to the Competent Authority, MTI Bannu, whose decision shall be final.

11. Disqualification Criteria:
    A candidate may be disqualified or excluded from the recruitment process if found guilty of:

    • Conviction by a court of law.

    • Dismissal from public service.

    • Furnishing false or misleading information.

    • Suppressing material facts.

    • Seeking influence or support through improper means.

    • Submitting forged or tampered documents.

    • Misbehavior during the interview.

12. Verification:

    • Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.

13. Authority’s Rights:

    • The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or abolish any post without assigning any reason.

14. Appointment Age Limit:

    • For Serial Nos. 01–03, candidates above 60 years may be appointed on fixed pay for one year, extendable up to 63 years based on performance.

15. No TA/DA:

    • No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
