Positions Vacant

Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry is a 470-bed, multi-specialty, tertiary care teaching institution.
It is affiliated with Fatima Memorial Hospital and recognized for postgraduate training by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) in all major disciplines. The institution provides state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic services to patients from all walks of life and seeks highly motivated and dedicated faculty familiar with modern learning strategies in an integrated curriculum.

Faculty Vacancies

1. Professor – Department of Psychiatry

  • Qualification: MBBS, FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
    Mandatory: 1 year/6 months Diploma or Certification in Medical Education.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years teaching experience as Associate Professor at a PMDC recognized institution.

  • Research Publications: At least 15 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals, including 6 publications as Associate Professor.

2. Associate Professor – Department of Psychiatry

  • Qualification: MBBS, FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
    Mandatory: 1 year/6 months Diploma or Certification in Medical Education.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor at a PMDC recognized institution.

  • Research Publications: At least 9 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals, including 7 publications as Assistant Professor.

3. Assistant Professor

  • Departments: Anatomy, Medical Education, Accident & Emergency, Neurosurgery, Medical Oncology, Family Medicine, Rheumatology

  • Qualification: MBBS, FCPS, M.Phil, or equivalent postgraduate qualification.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years clinical experience at a PMDC recognized institution in relevant specialty.

  • Research Publications: Minimum 2 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals.

4. Senior Registrar

  • Departments: Cardiology, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedic Surgery, Psychiatry, Nephrology, Family Medicine, Accident & Emergency

  • Qualification: MBBS, FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in relevant specialty.

Important Notes

  1. Experience Equivalence: For faculty positions of Assistant Professor and above, candidates are required to obtain an experience equivalence certificate from PMDC.

  2. Preference will be given to candidates with:

    • Experience in undergraduate medical education

    • Strong research background with high-impact publications

    • Expertise in curriculum design, assessment, and use of technology
