Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry (FMH CMD) – Positions Vacant

Institution Overview:
Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry is a 470-bed, multi-specialty, tertiary care teaching institution. Affiliated with Fatima Memorial Hospital, the College is recognized for postgraduate training by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) across all major disciplines. The hospital provides state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic services to patients from diverse backgrounds.

FMH CMD invites applications from highly motivated and dedicated faculty familiar with modern teaching strategies and integrated curriculum design for the following positions as per PMDC guidelines:

1. Associate Professor

Departments:

  • Psychiatry

  • Ophthalmology

Qualification:

  • MBBS

  • FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in relevant subject

  • Diploma/Certification in Medical Education (6 months) – mandatory

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor at a PMDC-recognized institution in the relevant subject

Research Requirements:

  • At least 9 research publications, with a minimum of 7 as Assistant Professor in the relevant subject in peer-reviewed indexed journals

2. Assistant Professor

Departments:

  • Anatomy

  • Medical Education

  • Accident & Emergency

  • Neurosurgery

  • Medical Oncology

  • Family Medicine

  • Rheumatology

Qualification:

  • MBBS, FCPS, M.Phil or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience at a PMDC-recognized institution

Research Requirements:

  • At least 2 research publications in the relevant subject in peer-reviewed indexed journals

3. Senior Registrar

Departments:

  • Ophthalmology

  • ENT

  • Orthopedic Surgery

  • Psychiatry

  • Pulmonology

  • Nephrology

  • Family Medicine

  • Accident & Emergency

  • Endocrinology

  • Rheumatology

Qualification:

  • MBBS, FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject

Preference:

  • Candidates with experience in undergraduate medical education, research, high-impact publications, curriculum design, assessment, and use of educational technology

Important Notes

  • Experience Equivalence: For faculty positions of Assistant Professor and above, candidates are required to obtain an experience equivalence certificate from PMDC.
