Applications from the eligible candidates are invited to fill up the following work charged posts against PSDP Project of "Procurement/Manufacture of 230 Passenger Coaches" at Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad. The appointment will be made on Contract basis for one year and will be extendable till completion of project on satisfactory performance. Selected candidates shall be entitled to Pay and other benefits as admissible under Project Pay Scale 7 (PPS-7). The eligibility of the Posts is mentioned below;

  • BSc. Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering from HEC recognized University of Pakistan.
  • CGPA must be at least 3.0
  • Must have valid registration of PEC.
  • Must have at least 2 years' Experience in relevant field including supervision, operating and programming ofComputerized Numerical Control(CNC) Machines.
  • Must have a good knowledge and hands on experience in latest versions of Mechanical design software i.e. AutoCAD, CAD/CAM, Pro-E, ANSYS etc.
Note: Candidates with higher qualification in Design
Engineering and more professional experience in relevant field shall be preferred.		 01 Up to 35 years
  • BSc Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized University of Pakistan.
  • CGPA must be equal to or greater than 3.0 out of 4.00
  • Must have valid registration of PEC.
  • Must have at least 2 years' Experience in Rolling Stock or related Projects.
  • Must have a good knowledge and hands on experience of MS Office, MS Project etc.
 01 Up to 35 years
2 Assistant Mechanical Engineer 07
  • Minimum qualification should be 03 years DAE (Mechanical).
  • Retired employees having relevant/ required experience of similar nature of works i.e. Pakistan Railways/ Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission/ NDC in BS-16/17 or equivalent.
  • Must have at least25 years working experience of manufacturing of Rolling Stock OR Specialised Welding Processes.
 02 Up to 62 years
