Educational / Professional Qualification

  • MBBS from a PMDC-recognized institute/university with valid registration from the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC)

  • Postgraduate Qualification in one of the following disciplines:

    • Internal Medicine

    • Family Medicine

    • General Medicine

    • Hospital Administration

    • Public Health

    • Occupational Medicine

    • or an equivalent discipline

  • Equivalent foreign qualifications recognized by PMDC shall also be acceptable


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years of postgraduate experience, including at least 10 years in a leading role in:

    • Managing healthcare services

    • Hospital administration

    • Employee health programs

    • Medical training

    • Medical governance in a large organization

  • Preference will be given to:

    • Medical professionals from the Pakistan Army Medical Corps (AMC) holding the rank of Major/Lieutenant Colonel

    • Pakistan Air Force Medical Branch holding the rank of Wing Commander/Commanding Officer

    • Candidates with experience in:

      • Hospital administration

      • Medical management

      • Senior command appointments

    • Candidates with experience in managing:

      • Multidisciplinary medical teams

      • Healthcare facilities

      • Emergency medical services

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead the Health Management Wing and provide strategic direction for all medical services across the Bank

  • Develop, review, and implement the Bank's medical policies, healthcare procedures, and clinical governance framework

  • Advise Senior Management on medical, occupational health, employee wellness, and healthcare risk management matters

  • Oversee the Bank's panel of hospitals, consultants, laboratories, and healthcare providers to ensure quality, service standards, and cost effectiveness

  • Evaluate, recommend, and periodically review the empanelment, renewal, suspension, or removal of healthcare providers based on predefined quality and performance standards

  • Lead negotiations with hospitals and healthcare providers to secure competitive service packages while maintaining quality of care

  • Supervise and guide Regional Medical Officers and other medical personnel to ensure consistent implementation of medical policies

  • Provide expert medical opinion in complex hospitalization, disability, medical fitness, and exceptional medical cases

  • Ensure standardized medical fitness examinations for recruitment, promotion, and other employment-related requirements

  • Conduct periodic inspections and performance reviews of panel hospitals and healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with agreed service standards

  • Promote preventive healthcare initiatives, executive health screening, vaccination campaigns, occupational health programs, and employee wellness initiatives

  • Lead emergency medical preparedness and coordinate the Bank's response during health emergencies, disasters, epidemics, or other crises affecting employees

  • Drive automation and digitization of healthcare processes, medical records, claims management, and reporting systems

  • Monitor healthcare utilization, medical expenditures, and service quality through MIS and recommend improvements to optimize healthcare costs

  • Chair or participate in Medical Boards and provide recommendations on employee fitness, long-term illness, disability, and special medical cases

  • Establish effective controls to prevent medical fraud, billing irregularities, and misuse of healthcare facilities

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, healthcare institutions, government organizations, and external stakeholders on matters related to employee healthcare

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Health Management Wing

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management in relation to the Bank's healthcare services

Educational / Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC of Pakistan

  • Preference: Candidates having a Master's degree and/or any professional certification(s)


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 08 years of working experience, preferably in Banking and/or Financial Institution(s)

  • Out of which at least 03 years of experience as:

    • An in-house trainer and/or

    • corporate trainer having subject expertise in:

      • Compliance

      • Branch Banking Operations

      • Soft Skills

  • Preference: Candidates who are certified trainers or have experience in training


Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

  • Extensive knowledge of learning theories

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite and Online Video Conferencing Applications (Zoom, Meet, Teams, etc.)


Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and development of need-based training programs and update existing courses for different cadres of employees

  • Structure training programs with lectures, group discussions, and case studies to ensure practical understanding of the subject

  • Conduct training courses as per training plans and administer quizzes/tests to analyze understanding of the subject by trainees

  • Conduct tests, check test papers, and prepare results for posting

  • Research and design long-duration courses for newly hired and promoted staff

  • Organize seminars and workshops as per training need assessment

  • Arrange summary reports regarding trainee feedback and evaluation

  • Implement innovative methodologies of training delivery, retention, and evaluation

  • Assess training programs based on procedural learning

  • Minimum 05 years of work experience, with at least 02 years in Human Resources

    • Training & Development of staff

  • Supervise processing and sanctioning of all kinds of staff benefits, such as:

    • Staff Loans

    • Medical Bills

    • TA/DA

    • Other related benefits

  • Supervise processing of end-service benefits cases of retired, dismissed, and deceased employees and ensure timely disbursement of pending dues, incentives, and rewards

  • Supervise staff complaints, disciplinary, and litigation cases in line with policies

  • Follow up on cases with different stakeholders (Head Office and Regional Office) for timely resolution

  • Handle staff appeals and grievances assigned by Head Office/Regional Office and ensure timely disposal

  • Provide support to Head Office/Senior HR Business Partner in handling staff litigation cases

  • Supervise all HR-related tasks/activities in SAP-HCM

  • Ensure implementation of Bank's Code of Conduct and HR policies related to:

    • Time and attendance

    • Leaves

    • Dress code

    • Discipline in Regional Office and Branches

  • Oversee and maintain records of:

    • Leaves

    • Transfers and postings

    • Promotions
