Advertisement for Appointment of Legal Advisor

The Municipal Committee, Kahuta, intends to appoint a Legal Advisor for a period of two years under the Punjab Legal Advisors Rules, 2003, for handling legal proceedings and pursuing court cases. The appointment will be made under the following terms and conditions:

Terms and Conditions of Appointment as per Government Instructions

  1. Eligibility Criteria:

    • The Legal Advisor must have a minimum of five years of legal practice experience.
    • Must be a member of the High Court Bar Council.
    • Only eligible candidates meeting these criteria can apply.

  2. Compensation Details:

    • Applicants must clearly mention their expected monthly compensation in the application.
    • Final approval of the compensation will be subject to the competent authority (Government of Punjab) and may be lower than the applicant's stated demand.

  3. Additional Advisory Fees:

    • No separate fee will be paid for any legal advice sought from the Legal Advisor.

  4. Final Appointment Approval:

    • Recommendations for appointment will be forwarded to the Government of Punjab for final approval.

Application Submission

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications, addressed to:

Administrator, Municipal Committee Kahuta,
along with the following documents:

  • Verified copies of relevant qualifications.
  • Certified copies of experience documents.

Applications must reach by 26th December 2024.
Additionally, a copy of the application should also be sent to the:
Secretary, Government of Punjab, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Lahore, along with certified copies of required documents.
