RECRUITMENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR TEMPORARY LABOR (UNSKILLED) FOR THE YEAR 2026–2027

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the recruitment of temporary, unskilled daily-wage labor for various maintenance and canal embankment reinforcement works under the jurisdiction of the Gujrat Canal Division, Gujrat.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted to the office of the undersigned during official hours by 20 June 2026. Late applications will not be entertained.

  2. Required Documents: Applicants must attach two recent passport-size photographs, copies of educational certificates/testimonials (if any), and proof of experience along with their application.

  3. Local Preference: Recruitment will be carried out based on local requirements. Preference will be given to candidates residing within the local limits/districts of the relevant canal sections.

  4. Nature of Appointment: The positions are purely temporary and restricted to specific assignments for the financial year 2026–2027. This employment does not confer any right to permanent regularized status.

  5. Age Limit: Age relaxation will be applicable as per the standard policy and current rules of the Government of the Punjab.

  6. Authority's Right: The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

  7. No TA/DA: No Traveling Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for appearing in the test or interview.

  8. Wage Standards: Wage disbursement will be strictly monitored and paid according to the prevailing daily-wage schedule rates issued by the Government of the Punjab.
