District Health Officer, Chitral Lower – Lady Health Workers Program
For Family Planning & Primary Health Care

The District Health Officer (DHO), Chitral Lower invites applications from eligible and suitable female candidates for appointment on a purely contract basis under the Lady Health Workers Program for Family Planning and Primary Health Care, in accordance with the Lady Health Workers Act 2014. The positions are BPS-05, fixed-term, and sanctioned specifically for female candidates.

The names of Village Councils and a list of pre-identified vacant posts are available on the notice board of the District Health Officer, Chitral Lower. Recruitment will be conducted based on the availability of vacancies in these Village Councils.

Specific Notes on Recruitment:

  • Married women must be permanent residents of the respective area.

  • Unmarried women should also be residents of the respective community.

  • Candidates with experience in community work or primary health care will be preferred.

  • Candidates must be willing to work from their homes and within the assigned community.

  1. Eligibility: Only female candidates who are permanent residents of the district and assigned area are eligible.

  2. Application Forms: Only applications submitted on the prescribed application form will be processed.
