Rawalpindi Medical University invites applications from suitable and enthusiastic candidates (Male & Female) who are domiciled in Punjab for appointment to the following position on a temporary basis.

Junior Computer Operator

Age Limit

  • Male: 18 to 30 years

  • Female: 18 to 33 years

Qualification & Requirements

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) from a recognized Board with knowledge of MS Office

OR

  1. Intermediate in Computer Science (Second Division) from a recognized Board.

Additional Requirement

  • Typing speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) in English on computer.

Preference

Preference may be given to candidates having relevant experience in clerical duties, such as:

  • File handling

  • Record keeping

  • Data entry

  • Noting and drafting

  • Other administrative tasks in public sector organizations

Terms & Conditions

  1. Recruitment will be processed strictly in accordance with the Schedule of Wage Rates notified by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab vide No. RO (TECH) FD 2-2/2025 dated 18.09.2025.

  2. The appointment will be purely temporary, valid up to 30 June 2026.

    • It may be extended based on institutional requirements and satisfactory performance.

    • This appointment will not confer any right for regular or permanent employment.

  3. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 1,000 must be submitted through Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of:
    “Vice Chancellor, RMU.”

  4. Applicants must submit applications on the prescribed form, available at the university website:

  5. Applications must be accompanied by the following documents:

    • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)

    • Attested copies of academic degrees and transcripts

    • CNIC copy

    • Domicile certificate

    • Two fresh passport-size colored photographs

    • Original Demand Draft / Pay Order

  6. Candidates possessing foreign degrees must attach an attested copy of the IBCC equivalence certificate.

  • Only shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for test/interview.

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.

  • The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or not fill any post without assigning any reason.

  • If any information is found false or incorrect at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified and legal action may be taken.
