Job Opportunities (Contract-Based Recruitment)

OVERVIEW

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals (Male/Female) having a Punjab Domicile for initial contract-based appointments against the following vacant positions.

POSITION DETAILS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Assistant Professor of Medical Education (BPS-18)

  • No. of Posts: 02

  • Age Limit: 25 – 45 years

  • Required Qualification & Experience:

    1. MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized and registered by the PMDC.

    2. Level II-B or Level III postgraduate degree or diploma in Medical Education / Health Professions Education or a related field recognized by the PMDC.

    3. A minimum of two (02) research papers published in the relevant subject.

2. Chief Security Officer (BPS-18)

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: up to 50 years

  • Required Qualification & Experience:

    • Must be a retired commissioned officer from the Pakistan Armed Forces (Army, Navy, or Air Force), preferably with the rank of Major or above.

    • Should possess a clean service record (no serious disciplinary actions) and must not have retired on medical or disciplinary grounds.

    • Must be in good physical and mental health to perform security duties effectively.

  • Preferred Skills/Expertise:

    • Knowledge of modern security systems (CCTV, access controls, fire protection, alarm systems, etc.).

    • Experience in security policy-making, risk assessment, crisis management, and coordination with external agencies (police, intelligence, etc.).

    • Ability to manage security personnel, plan intelligence protocols, and train security staff.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Employment Type: Contract basis initially for a period of three (03) years (extendable based on university performance and prevailing contract policies).

  • Degree Verification: Final appointment is subject to verification of academic degrees and experience certificates (expenditure to be borne by the selected candidate).

  • Application Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- must be paid via Pay Order / Demand Draft in favor of "Vice Chancellor RMU".

  1. Download Form: Obtain the prescribed application form from the university website: www.rmur.edu.pk

  2. Dossier Checklist: Attach the following documents to your application:

    • Fresh, updated CV.

    • Attested copies of all educational degrees, transcripts, and experience certificates.

    • Attested copies of valid CNIC and Punjab Domicile.

    • Two (02) fresh passport-size colored photographs.

    • The original Demand Draft / Pay Order of Rs. 1,000/-.

    • For Foreign Degrees: Attested copy of HEC / IBCC / PMDC equivalency.

  3. Submission: Submit the completely filled form and documents to Room No. 39, RMU New Teaching Block (inside Holy Family Hospital), Rawalpindi.

    • Note: If applying for more than one post, separate application forms, documents, and processing fees must be submitted.

  4. Government Servants: Candidates currently working on a regular/adhoc/contract basis in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel with an attached NOC.
