Program Overview

About NIPP:
The National Institute of Public Policy (NIPP) has instituted an Internship Program for individuals passionate about public policy, governance, and administration. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience and contribute to shaping policies that matter.

Internship Duration:

  • Start Date: 15 July 2026

  • End Date: 15 September 2026

  • Total Duration: 2 Months

Monthly Stipend: Rs. 40,000/-

  • Administration

  • International Relations

  • Economic Policy

  • Social Policy

  • Foreign Affairs


Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Enrollment/Education:

    • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate from, an accredited university or college.

  2. Field of Study:

    • Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, International Relations, or a closely related field.

  3. Academic Performance:

    • Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

  4. Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis.

    • Strong analytical and writing skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Learning Opportunities

Interns will gain practical experience through:

  • Policy Formulation: Participating in the development of policy frameworks.

  • Lectures: Attending expert-led sessions on key topics.

  • Study Visits: Engaging in field visits to observe policy implementation.
