Vacant Positions Announcement

Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding Sindh domicile for recruitment in the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Government of Sindh.

Candidates meeting the required qualifications, age, and experience may apply within 30 days of the publication of this advertisement.

1. Position Details

Constable (BPS-05)

Number of Vacancies

  • Total posts: (Multiple – district-wise distribution mentioned in original ad)

Age Limit

  • 18 to 28 years

2. Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent

  • Degree must be from a recognized board/institution (HEC recognized where applicable)

3. Physical Requirements

For Male Candidates

  • Minimum Height: 5 feet 5 inches

  • Chest: 33 inches (with 1.5-inch expansion)

  • Running Test: 100 meters in 14 seconds

For Female Candidates

  • Minimum Height: 5 feet 2 inches

  • Running Test: 100 meters in 14 seconds

4. Important Instructions

  • Candidates must apply online through the Sindh Government Job Portal:

  • Applicants must have passed the STS (SIBA Testing Services) Graduation Category Screening Test with at least 40% marks and possess a valid score certificate.

  • Age relaxation will be granted as per Government of Sindh policy.

  • Recruitment will be conducted under:

    • Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973 (as amended from time to time)

5. Additional Conditions

  • Government employees must apply through the proper channel and submit NOC at the time of test/interview.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for:

    • Physical test

    • Interview

  • Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
