College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP)

The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), established in 1962, is a premier postgraduate medical institution dedicated to excellence in medical education, training, and professional development across Pakistan.

CPSP invites applications from qualified, competent, and motivated professionals for the following position:

Position Title: I.T. Officer (Peshawar Based)

Location: Peshawar

Position Overview

The I.T. Officer will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless desktop and network operations. The role requires hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to independently manage troubleshooting, system administration, and technical training workshops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Desktop Support and resolve end-user technical issues with minimal supervision

  • Manage and maintain LAN/WLAN networks

  • Perform system troubleshooting and hardware/software maintenance

  • Conduct IT workshops and technical training sessions

  • Assist in developing workshop curriculum (preferred)

  • Support and maintain Video Conferencing systems

  • Ensure smooth operation of institutional IT infrastructure

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong background in Desktop & LAN support

  • Proficiency in LAN/WLAN administration

  • Hands-on experience with Linux Operating System (highly preferred)

  • Familiarity with video conferencing setup and technical support

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conducting workshops

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

Qualification

  • Graduate in Computer Science

  • Relevant professional work experience in IT support and networking

  • Preference will be given to candidates with Linux expertise and video conferencing experience
