Job Opportunity

Position: Biostatistician

  • Job Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

  • Core Objective: Support institutional research activities by providing statistical analysis, guiding study designs, and conducting professional training. The candidate will help researchers and medical trainees ensure accurate, effective use of statistical methods in medical and scientific research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Synopsis Review: Evaluate and review the statistical components and methodologies of medical research synopses.

  • Sample Size Calculations: Perform, verify, and cross-check precise sample size calculations for various research studies.

  • Software Expertise: Apply strong, hands-on expertise in SPSS software to manage and analyze complex biomedical datasets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Statistics.

    • Preferred: Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology.

  • Experience: Prior working experience in medical or clinical research environments.

  • Training Capabilities: Proven ability to design and conduct professional training sessions for medical trainees and researchers.
