SPECIALIZED HEALTHCARE & MEDICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB

SITUATION VACANT

The Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for appointment on a lump-sum contract basis for a period of three years, further extendable, for the following positions. These roles are intended to strengthen procurement, monitoring, and governance processes in public sector teaching hospitals across Punjab.

Applications are invited for the following contract positions:

 
Position Title Qualification Experience Age
Hospital Monitoring Officer / Hospital Governance Executive Master's Degree in Hospital & Health Services Management, Management, Business Management, or Public Administration from an HEC-recognized University.

Note: Candidates possessing a medical degree (MBBS) may also apply, provided they present an additional management qualification as mentioned above. Such candidates shall not be permitted private practice during the tenure of appointment.		 Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a leadership/senior supervisory position, managing an organization with at least 5,000 employees. 40-51 years
Procurement Specialist / Officer Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Finance, ACCA, or CA from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Minimum five (05) years of relevant professional experience. 40-51 years
Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant Graduation in Business Administration, Health, Statistics, Health Management, Public Administration, Finance, Public Health, or Information Technology from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Minimum two (02) years of relevant professional experience. 25-40 years

General Instructions

  1. Application Form: Applicants are required to submit their application/dossier on the prescribed proforma, which can be downloaded from the website: https://health.punjab.gov.pk/.

  2. Application Fee: The application must be accompanied by a non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 2000/- in favor of the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.

  3. Nature of Employment: Appointments shall be on a lump-sum contract basis.

  4. Salary: The salary package will be market-competitive.

  5. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

  6. Government Employees: Government employees must apply through the proper channel.

  7. Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications shall not be considered.

  8. Verification: Final appointment shall be subject to the verification of educational degrees and experience certificates. Any expenses incurred in this regard shall be borne by the candidate.

  9. Departmental Rights: The Department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

  10. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.

Required Documents

Applicants are required to submit the following documents along with the prescribed application form:

a) Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
b) Attested copies of all educational degrees, diplomas, certificates, and transcripts issued by the relevant examining bodies.
c) Attested copy of a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
d) Attested copy of the Punjab Domicile Certificate.
e) Attested copies of all experience certificates, duly issued by the respective employer(s).
f) Three (03) recent passport-size photographs.
g) In the case of professional qualifications requiring registration with a statutory regulatory body, a valid registration certificate issued by the relevant Council/Authority.
h) Documentary evidence of any additional qualifications, certifications, professional memberships, honors, or achievements.
i) NOC from the present employer (for Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees) to be produced at the time of the interview or as required by the Department.
