University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore invites applications for the hiring of qualified and eligible Medical Officers/Women Medical Officers on Locum Basis on behalf of the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab under Section 5(1) of Punjab Locum Hiring Act, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PM&DC.

  • Experience: Minimum one-year house job.

  • Registration: Valid Permanent Registration with PM&DC.

  • Preference: For specialty hospitals, candidates with experience in relevant specialty after house job will be preferred.

  • Employment Status: Only doctors working in non-government institutions are eligible.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

  1. Register online at the UHS portal: https://uhs.edu.pk/locumstaff

  2. Registration does not guarantee employment.

  3. Applicants must possess a full Permanent Registration Certificate issued by PM&DC on or before the closing date.

  4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
