Position Title: Head – Enterprise Risk Management (Risk Management Group)
Number of Positions: 01
Grade Placement: Band-4 to Band-2
Job Location: Lahore or Karachi, Pakistan
Core Purpose: To lead the bank’s risk framework by driving the development and automation of major risk models, managing Basel and IFRS 9 calculations, and overseeing Treasury Middle Office and Operational Risk management activities.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
Minimum of 12 years of total banking experience.
Must include at least 3 years of experience in a similar senior risk management role.
Maximum of 55 years old (calculated as of the application date).
Lead the creation, development, and automation of risk models specifically for IFRS 9, credit risk, market risk, ICAAP, and capital/recovery plans.
Ensure the timely and precise calculation of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and BASEL returns on a periodic basis, aligning with asset classification, balance sheet composition, and regulatory frameworks.
Collect and monitor comprehensive market, liquidity, country, and foreign exchange (FX) risk data.
Develop specific risk appetite limits and actively supervise Treasury operations.
Oversee key operational risk structures, including the review of ORAPs, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
Assess Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, and Proliferation Financing (ML/TF/PF) risks.
Design and implement operational risk heat maps and executive dashboards.
