SITUATION VACANT

A Government Organization invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for appointment on a contract basis for the following position:

Position Details

General Manager Finance

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Maximum Age: 50 Years

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

  • MBA (Finance) / ACCA
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university or equivalent

Experience:

  • 15–20 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Civil or Military organizations will be preferred

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Advise on all matters related to budget allocation and expenditures (Development & Non-Development) of the organization
  • Formulate and control Non-Development (current expenditure) budget
  • Maintain forecasting and monitoring of budgets
  • Ensure proper re-allocation of development budget as per approvals from the Ministry of Information Technology
  • Maintain records and statistics of commitments and expenditures
  • Regular monitoring of Development and Non-Development expenditures
  • Re-appropriate funds between different heads of accounts as required
  • Prepare budgetary reports and returns
  • Scrutinize expenditure cases and issue necessary instructions
  • Arrange Letters of Credit (LCs) for import-related contracts
  • Analyze challenges in budget implementation
  • Coordinate with:
    • Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom
    • Finance Division
    • CMA (FWO)
  • Manage budget allocation for House Building and Conveyance Advances
