Positions Vacant

The District Population Welfare Office, Sukkur, under the Population Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications from eligible female candidates holding domicile of District Sukkur for the following vacant position. Applications must be submitted within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

2. Eligibility Criteria and Conditions

(i) Application Procedure

Applicants who meet the required criteria must apply online through the Government of Sindh Job Portal:
https://sjp.gov.pk


(ii) Screening Test Requirement

  • Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test (Matriculation Category).

  • The test must have been conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS).

  • Candidates must have obtained at least 40% marks.

  • A valid STS certificate is mandatory for eligibility.


(iii) Age Calculation & Relaxation

  • Age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission, as per Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024.

  • Upper age relaxation of 5 years will be granted in accordance with Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD)564/2011 (Part-II), dated 06-03-2025, issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department.


(iv) Quota Policy

Reserved quotas for initial appointment shall be observed in accordance with the Government of Sindh Laws, Rules, and Policies.


(v) Government Employees

  • Applicants already serving in Government departments must:

    • Apply through proper channel.

    • Obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

    • Present the original NOC at the time of interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.


(vi) Appointment Policy

Appointments will be made in accordance with:

  • Policy notified by Government of Sindh dated 26-04-2023 and 21-11-2025.

  • Provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act and relevant rules, as amended from time to time.


(vii) Interview Process

  • Eligible candidates will appear before the Departmental Selection Committee No. IV (District Level).

  • The Committee will be headed by the Deputy Commissioner, Sukkur.

  • Interview schedule will be uploaded on the Job Portal.

  • Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.


(viii) Preference Criteria

Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the same UC/Taluka/Town where the vacancy exists.


(ix) TA/DA

No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for appearing in the interview.
