The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Islamabad, invites applications from suitable candidates for appointment to the following posts. The appointment shall be made on a contract basis for a period of 4 years. The qualifications, experience, and other prescribed conditions are as follows:

Qualifications & Experience:
MBBS, MD or equivalent degree, or M.Sc in Biosciences/Molecular Biology/Genetics/Zoology/Microbiology.
Postgraduate qualification in Microbiology/Vaccine Immunology, such as MRCPath, FCPS, Diploma, or American Board.
Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field with a strong background in management.
Preferable Experience:
Experience in epidemiology.
Experience in planning, developing, and implementing large-scale public health vaccination programs.
Work experience in vaccines and biological research (research & development, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation).
Experience in senior or executive capacity of health programs, with substantial experience in HR management, decision-making, and communication skills for interaction with senior national and international authorities.
Additional Qualifications:
Research degree: PhD/M.Phil in Microbiology/Immunology or post-graduate training in vaccine development from recognized international centers.
Track record and ability to attract research grants and conduct research projects.
At least 10 relevant peer-reviewed research papers published in national or international journals within the last 5 years.

MBBS, MD or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC.
Postgraduate qualification in Infectious Diseases, Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology, Community Medicine, or related field, such as FCPS, MRCP, or M.PH/MS/MPH.
2 years FELTP/FETRE experience or equivalent.
Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field with a strong background in management.
Preferable Experience:
PhD in relevant field or post-graduate training from recognized universities (local or abroad).
Track record and ability to attract and conduct research projects or establish a research program.
At least 10 peer-reviewed research papers published in high-impact journals in the last 5 years.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 45 years.
Conflict of Interest: The Executive Director must have no conflict of interest and shall issue a declaration of no conflict.
Government Employees: Applicants from government/semi-government services must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the time of the interview.
Eligibility: Eligibility of the candidate will be determined based on qualifications, experience, etc., as per the requirements listed for each post.
Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
No TADA: TA/DA will not be admissible for the interview process.
Disqualification: In case of any fraudulent or forged information, the applicant will be disqualified, even after appointment, and legal action may be initiated.
Right to Cancel: The competent authority reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan.
Disciplinary Proceedings: Persons dismissed or removed from service due to disciplinary proceedings are ineligible.
Criminal Convictions: Persons convicted by the court of competent jurisdiction and NRO beneficiaries are also ineligible.
