Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) is inviting applications from suitable candidates for various positions on a contract basis.

Available Positions

1. Deputy Manager (DM – Tax & Costing)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Up to 40 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • ACMA / ACCA / ACA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience

Key Skills:

  • Filing Income Tax & Sales Tax returns
  • Tax reconciliation and handling audits
  • Liaison with tax authorities and consultants
  • Expertise in costing, including:
    • Variance analysis
    • Budgeting
    • Import and store costing (preferred)

2. Assistant Manager (AM – Contracting)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • BE (Mechanical/Electrical) with PEC registration
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in procurement, contracting, and supply chain (industrial sector)

Preferred Skills:

  • Contract & Project Management

3. Senior Technical Assistant (QC – Hull)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • DAE / B.Tech (Mechanical)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in steel fabrication & welding

Preferred:

  • Welding Inspector Level-I certification

4. Senior Technical Assistant (QC – NDT)

Qualification & Experience:

  • DAE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Metallurgy)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in NDT techniques

Preferred Certifications:

  • NDT (RT, UT & DPT)

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • Matric (preferably DAE Mechanical)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in shipbuilding or industrial piping systems

Preferred:

  • Relevant trade certifications

6. Khallasi

  • Age Limit: Up to 25 years

Qualification & Experience:

  • Middle / Matric
  • Preference for candidates with:
    • Trade experience
    • Rope handling skills
