POSITIONS VACANT

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking suitable, qualified candidates for appointment to the following executive, technical, and trade positions on a contract basis.

## Executive & Technical Positions

Position / Billet No. of Posts Age Limit Qualification & Experience Criteria
Assistant Manager (AM) - Time Office 01 Up to 35 years

• Education: Graduation / Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

 

• Experience: 3+ years in HR, attendance management, payroll, or time-office operations.

 

• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; hands-on experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Assistant Manager (AM) - QC Paint 01 Up to 35 years

• Education: BE (Metallurgy & Materials) / M.Sc (Chemistry / Chemical / Petroleum Technology) from an HEC-recognized university.

 

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in Quality Control / Industrial Engineering.

 

• Certification: Candidates possessing BGAS / AMPP CIP Level I or equivalent certifications will be preferred.
Assistant Manager (AM) - Fabrication 01 Up to 35 years

• Education: BE (Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing); must be PEC-registered.

 

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in leading fabrication projects (steel structures, pressure vessels, tanks).

 

• Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
Assistant Manager (AM) - Machine Shop 01 Up to 45 years

• Education: BE (Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing / Architecture) or related technical degree.

 

• Experience: Relevant experience in mechanical machining and operations.

 

• Skills: MS Office knowledge; hands-on experience with CNC machines, tools, and drawing interpretation.
Technical Assistant 01 Up to 45 years

• Education: DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) from a recognized institution.

 

• Experience: 2–3 years of drafting/designing experience in steel structures, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers.

 

• Skills: Hands-on experience with drawing interpretation and MS Office.

## Skilled Trade Positions (Daily Wage / Contract)

General Note for Trade Posts: Age limit is generally up to 45 years. Candidates possessing a relevant technical trade course certificate will be highly preferred.

Electrician 01 2–3 years of experience; Middle / Matriculation, preferably holding a DAE (Electrical) and a valid electrical wireman license.
Furnace Operator 01 2–3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Khallasi 01 2–3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Moulder 01 2–3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Turner 01 Middle / Matriculation with 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
